Installing a Trustwave Secure E-Mail Digital ID (S/MIME SSL Certificate) in Apple Mail

To begin the installation, download the PFX file from the Trustwave Control Center that corresponds to the e-mail address you would like to secure. Download the file to the computer on which you would like to install your Secure E-Mail Digtal ID. We recommend saving it on the desktop for easy access.

Once you have downloaded your PFX, make a note of your PFX code that appears in the Trustwave Control Center. This code is necessary to install your Digital ID on your computer.

Double click your PFX file on the desktop and the Keychain Access application will open automatically. If it doesn't open, drag the file onto the Keychain Access icon in /Applications/Utilities. When it asks for your private key password, enter the code found next to your Secure E-Mail Digital ID in the Trustwave Control Center.

Quit the Keychain Access application and start Mail. Your new certificate is fully installed.
