Install your Trustwave SSL certificate Install your Trustwave SSL certificate
In the e-mail that you received from Trustwave when your certificate was issued, there was a ZIP file attached. Within the ZIP file is a file that ends in .cer - this is your certificate. Move this file onto the Windows NT Server.

After opening the Key Manager, install your certificate by clicking on the key in the www directory. This is normally a broken key icon with a line through it. Select "Install Key Certificate" and enter your password.

You will now be asked about IP and port information. If you are unsure what to put in these fields, contact your network administrator for guidance. The default port for SSL connections is 443. If you already have SSL certificates on the server, be sure to have a separate IP for each SSL certificate that you install.

Select "Commit Changes" from the "Computers" menu and close the Key Manager. Your certificate is now installed, but the intermediates still must be installed (see the next step). We recommend backing up the key in the Key Manager by clicking "Export" in the "Key Menu".

Double-click the GSInt.crt certificate, press "Next", and then choose "Place all certificates in the following store". Click "Browse", and then "Show Physical Stores". Double-click the TrustwaveCA.crt certificate, press "Next", and then choose "Place all certificates in the following store". Click "Browse", and then "Show Physical Stores". To use the new certificates that you just installed, Windows NT itself needs to be rebooted. Rebooting only IIS will not install your new certificates.
