Install the Trustwave intermediate certificates Install the Trustwave intermediate certificates
Before installing your Trustwave SSL certificate, you will first need to install the Trustwave intermediate certificates. Return to the web administration panel, click on the server that requires security. Under the Security Tab, click "Install Certificate" on the left side.

To complete the next three steps, you will need our Trustwave intermediate certificates:

Download the GlobalSign Root certificate

Download the GlobalSign Partners certificate

Download the TrustwaveCA certificate

After the three certificates have downloaded to your local machine, click the "Server Certificate Chain" option and open GSRoot.crt with a text editor, like notepad. Copy the entire certificate - including the top and bottom dashed lines - and paste it into the "Message text (with headers)" box. Press "OK".

Repeat the steps with the other two intermediate certificates. Choose "Server Certificate Chain", paste in the GSInt.crt certificate to the "Message text" box and click "OK". Then choose "Server Certificate Chain", paste in the TrustwaveCA.crt certificate to the "Message text" box and click "OK".

The intermediate certificates are now fully installed.

When your certificate was issued by Trustwave, you received an e-mail with a ZIP file attached. Within the ZIP file, there is a file which ends in .cer - this is your SSL certificate. Extract the .cer and return to the iPlanet administration window.

Choose the "This Server" option and paste in your .cer file. Copy and paste the entire certificate - including the dashed lines at the top and bottom. Click "OK".

Go to the Preferences tab and click "Encryption On/Off". Set the encryption to "On" and specify a port number. The default SSL port is 443. Click "OK" and restart your server to apply your changes.
